Variance Analysis is probably the most challenging part of my job and I've been making a concerted effort to improve in this area. I used to get a *ton* of comments back. Things I needed to correct or expand upon. I've been getting fewer recently, but this is the FIRST TIME EVER that she simply approved them as they were!! (I really really wish I could run and dance and shout with glee right now, but I'm not sure my boss would like that too much!!)
(And I really need a great celebratory icon... why don't I have one of those???)
How did you all spend your holiday?
"If there are one or more people on your friends list who make your world a better place just because they exist, and who you would not have met (in real life or not) without the Internet, then post this same sentence in your journal."
I have several of these, and I'm very grateful for them!
I'm not rejoicing nor am I mourning exactly. I'm just glad its over.
Nothing terribly exiting going on in my life. Tommy started his new job on Monday; not much to say about it yet except the hours are really long. I'm going through a lot of stuff in therapy right now. Which means my emotions are kind of a mess, but it also means I'm making progress and I'm going to be doing much better when I come out on the other side!
Not really much going on in my life to write about. Tommy and I are doing well. He just accepted a position that pays much better, so that's good. Family is doing well. Job is doing well. Life's pretty boring, but I'm not complaining! Tax season is just about over, so that's good.
There's lots going on in the lives of the people around me, but mine is pretty calm. Just the way I like it!!
I've been really busy, stressed, overwhelmed and dealing with some emotional issues, but I'm doing better. So, no need to worry about me. :) Things are going better at work. I decided to quite my part-time job because I simply couldn't handle doing so much and I'm taking a sabbatical from my volunteer work. Tommy and I are doing well. He's just finishing up his second week at his new job and seems to be settling in well. Its not his ideal job, but its a job and a paycheck. We're finally unpacked and settled at the house at least to the point where it actually looks like we *live* there now. So that's good.
Not much else going on right now. Hope everyone is well.
Tuesday was my birthday and Tommy went out of his way to make sure it was a great day. It was very sweet and I felt very loved and cherished. We went to the new local Japanese Steakhouse with emyrys for dinner. It was a lot of fun!
